Problem connecting-error code 80048821

Any help would be greatly appreciated with this issue. 

When I turn on my Xbox, I cannot sign into my Xbox Live Account.

I am asked to enter my email and password (which I recently changed and was able to sign in with), then a message pops up saying I am signed in.

When I then click 'next' after selecting to remember password, I get an error message saying the password or email is wrong.

My internet connection is fine and I can sign into both my outlook account and the xbox website to view my profile with the same email and password- just not on my console. 

Help?
