Prepaid subscription canceled?

I bought (and activated) a 12 month gold subscription back in April of this year. On 9/21/13, I got a message from Microsoft confirming that my gold subscription has been canceled, and I never authorized this. I should note that I've been away at school since late august. I haven't accessed my XBL profile from either my Xbox or my PC since then, and I'm the only one with access to my account information. Is it possible that since I've been away for so long that my prepaid subscription canceled itself?The subscription should have been valid until April of 2014, and like I previously stated, there is nobody else with access to my information, and I never canceled my subscription.

Subscriptions don't cancel themselves due to inactivity. Try checking your account at https://billing.microsoft.com to see if it shows anything. If it does show that it was cancelled early, contact support. 1-800-4my-xbox if you're in the US/Canada or support.xbox.com/contact-us
