Power Supply

ok so i've unplugged my supply like all the posts about it says but the light is still orange and i've even taken it to another room.... the supply turns red when i try to turn on my xbox... it just started today.... was working fine yesterday please help me understand? its a new xbox with kinect

Sounds like a power problem.  If the console is new then you should return it to the store for an exchange.

^^^^^Absolutely I can almost guarantee it is a faulty power brick so as onyx said please bring it back and get a new one. Here is a guide for you.

i've done that guide... i've googled it online and done all the steps... its over 30 days and did not get the replacement thingy offered at wal-mart... i could not afford the plan....

Hey Grudge666333 it sounds like your power supply will need to be replaced then. You can Order a replacement Xbox 360 power supply from our Xbox Online Service Center. You should definitely still be under warranty, you can check out warranty details just in case. :)

ty miss kleo it is still under the factory warranty because i bought my xbox in march 2012
