I recently placed an order to get a replacement power supply. During the ordering process it told me I wasn't required to mail off the broken one, but after I confirmed the order I got the generic Microsoft email about sending them the broken one. The email stated that they wouldn't send me one until they recieve the broken one. I didn't file it under a warranty issue, I just paid the $35.
I'm not sure which I should follow? The order confirmation said it would ship in 10 days (that seems quite long for a power supply). I guess i don't want them holding up my new power supply while they wait for the broken one? Can someone clarify?
