power supply prolem

Hi,i've an XBOX 360 S model 1439 purchased in USA.There isn't any cable or power supply with it.

I want to run the consolle in Italy(we have a different voltage).

I just tried to run this US xbox with an Eu power supply.....well XBOX stay on only for a few seconds.

Wich power supply i need?American or european?

You need the power supply designed for that specific console.

If its a US console it needs the US power supply.

Using any other power supply could do some serious damage to your console.

Converters/adapters are available, but i am not sure they are recommended by microsoft.

Before you do anything else though, i would change that gamertag before you get a forced name change or a suspension.

What THEOWENKILLER said is incorrect. The power bricks convert power on their own--Just like a laptop power brick. 110 or 220, it draws the power it needs. That being said, you must get a genuine Microsoft adapter, or face issues in conversion, overheating, fire hazards, and console damage.. Order the power supply from Microsoft from here:
