Power Problems

I have the Skylander edition Xbox360 (slim?). I'll be playing it and it will be fine, then I turn the power off and my 360 controller flashes until I unplug battery pack on controller, then when I go to turn it back on by the power button on the front, nothing. So I unplug for 10 seconds then plug back in and it works. I have no idea whats going on, I hope someone can help!

It might be the controller or the system, but this is usually a small issue.

Hey Beast! Have you tried replacing the batteries or battery pack? Also, have you tried powering down the console via the controller?

I had this issue twice on a first gen console.  The first time I fixed it by just re-syncing the controller using the sync buttons.  But the second time a year later it didn't fix it and I had a rrod a few days later.  Though I don't know if it was related to it.
