Possible problem with power supply?

Have a 360 Slim (about 2 years old).  Last night after watching Hulu for an hour or so on the 360, I went to play Halo 4.  After about 2 minutes the Xbox completely shut off and would not power on, almost as if it wasn't getting any power at all.  The indicator light on the power supply was red and pretty hot.  I unplugged it, plugged it back in and the Xbox powered right back up.  After about 5 minutes it shut down again, the power supply "brick" still being very hot.  I decided to give up for the night and let everything cool down and try again tonight.

The question is - anyone else ever have this problem?  The Xbox itself seems to be just fine, not too hot or anything.  Also, where can I get another power supply if that's the issue?  They didn't seem to offer any on the Xbox site.  Thanks for any help.

This definitely sounds like an issue with your power "Brick"

If you have warranty, they will resolve it for free, otherwise, there may be a cost

Alternatively, you may be able to find a cheap one on a site like Ebay or Kijiji
