Please tell me that it's possible to mute ALL strangers via XBOX One...

I don't need to hear profanity laced tirades by 16 year olds. I would rather just school them online and not hear anything out of them. Plus, I have children who don't need to hear this sort of stuff. If there is no way to mute all strangers (there was with the 360), I'll have to return this puppy or not spend a dime on games etc until this is supported. This UI is absolutely horrendous. Doesn't seem to be gamer oriented at all.

There is not a global option yet (but it should exist from the day one).

I agree with you on the horrendous UI...

I'm told that the easiest thing to do is to start a party with just myself, and party chat should "mute" people during my playing sessions. However, this isn't as convenient as a default setting for mute all. I love my XBO, been playing the hell out of it. But, MS didn't really focus on the gamers here with this UI. Not sure who they were targeting.
