Please help...

I am trying to create a wireless Xbox Live connection. I have a Motorola modem and an **** router. The Motorola Surfboard SB6121 is connected to the PC via ethernet cable. The **** router has a data cable plugged into the ethernet port which connects to the wall jack. I have no idea how to access my router settings... entering my IP into the address bar does not seem to work.

I know I've got something configured wrong, please help.

Greetings Visceral!
Could you start by posting the model number of your Arris router.

If you receive one public IP (dynamically) from your ISP, then your set up should be laid out as follows:

Coaxial cable -------> Modem (Surfboard SB6121) -------> Router (Arris?) --------> Computer/Xbox etc.
