Play Downloadable Content Without Net Connection

I know that this has probable been answered elsewhere, however, I am a day away from moving and do not have the time to read countless posts in hopes to find my answer. (My console is at my new place already.) I purchased downloadable content for various games. However, I will not have internet service at my new house for about 2 weeks. Why am I not able to play my purchased content without an internet connection? I figure that since I did purchase it, it should work whether I have a connection or not. I spent nearly $500 on games and content in the past year and now can only play not even half of it because I have to have an internet connection. What gives Micro$oft?

I'm guessing you are on a new console. When you purchase content you get two licenses one tied to the console the content was downloaded to first the second is tied to the gamertag. If the license isn't on the console it requires you to sign in with the gamertag that purchased the content.

To fix this you need to do a license transfer www.xbox.com/drm
