PES 2011/FIFA 2011 Update Errors - 0034/0013

Have had this question come up often - seeing if anyone might know of how to fix them for users.

Consoles are update from Live, and when the user updates off the disk the following errors -0013 and -0034 come up.

The console is then in Loop mode b/c it wants the update it started off the disk and there is no returning to the dashboard.

Under 0013 fix is updating off USB/CD but there system is already up-to date on the dashboard.

Under 0034 it is to call support to fix the problem.

Anyone know a fix?

Thanks in advance.

Hey there - what are the 4 digits preceding 0013 and 0034? Is it 8007? Or C000?

C000 codes are typically referring to hardware faults, or detection of a tampered or modified console. 8007 errors are typically networking issues, most often caused by an aggressive firewall. If it's a C000 issue, like C000 0013 - have them perform the update roll back function (highlight the hard drive under memory, then press LB RB X LB RB X), then update from USB or CD. If it's 8007, have them bypass the router and connect directly to the modem. If it pops up a code that the site says simply "call phone support," then you would just want to direct them to Phone Support, as they can explain what the code means and how to fix it, if possible.
