Pathetic Customer Service

I contacted Xbox on 21/02 with a problem that meant I could connect to Xbox live however couldn't play any of my games online. The gentleman on the phone said 4 days time I would have a response. This was not the case, therefore I contacted Xbox again on 26/2 , however I was told it was business days. I was okay with that but then was proceeded to be told that in fact my case wasn't even filed until the day after meaning in true fact I had waited nearly a week just to be told they had forwarded it to the next team and should hold tight it will be sorted in a couple of days. A couple of days passed I had no reply and therefore contacted Xbox again on 28/2. Here I was told my status had changed, my request for some minor compensation had been forwarded to a supervisor and my issue would be resolved in a couple of hours. I waited for the rest of the night hoping I could contact the next day. However this was a Saturday and the Xbox team were unreachable. I let that slide but now I've lost patience after tonight I was told that in fact my case wasn't resolved which leads me to believe my request for compensation was not filed. Pathetic excuse for customer service in which a customer has not been taken seriously and as it stands feel I should just completely abandon the Xbox One and purchase a Playstation 4.

I hope this isn't also ignored,a VERY VERY UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER

So basically your saying they suck because they didn't give you something for free? Ok then!

Thanks DuFFul for your unnecessary comment, wasn't looking for a response from an unofficial who isn't really understanding the issue I've raised. The fact is throughout my complaint I haven't been listened to, so next time you want to come on here trolling why not stop, think actually I could play my xbox rather than interfere with other peoples feeds.

Had there been a real complaints service I would have done this more formally to avoid time wasters like yourself

well OP i don't understand what you posted that well (maybe not native English speaker?) but it sounds like you had an issue connecting to XBL, called support , took a few days to get fixed, then you wanted compensation and haven't heard back on that?

If thats the case, you will not get an offical answer here. MS employees aren't on these boards, this is a cumminty forum. Also you aren't entitled to free stuff because your XBl didn't work for a few days

Heh trust me if you go to ps4 looking for better customer service you will be disappointed. I recently had a good experience with customer service. My headset quit working and they set up a ticket and once they received mine they sent me a new one right out.

Try explaining your issue a bit better. You might get some tips to help.

From what you wrote, it just comes off as you asking for free stuff for a less than acceptable reason.

First off, thanks for informing me no employees visit this board, another case for my argument, see I was directed to these boards by a microsoft employee.

Secondly if we date back when the problem started occurring we are talking nearly 3 weeks, not good for a PAID service. I ask for compensation however for how they have treated my situation merely buying time and never giving clear answers on what they are actually doing. For instance informing me a member of staff will contact me on a friday night knowing full well if they didn't then I couldn't get in touch over the weekend. Again someone just criticising the post because they are bored.

However Merlin thanks for the input more constructive than the last two delinquents. I say about the PS4 because my brother had similar networking issues with his PS4 and was sorted within a matter of days not weeks.

But again, I am not impressed that nobody has given me a clear answer on the support chats on over the phone as to what is happening with my case.

of course its going to take extra time to actually get MONETARY COMPENSATION for your problems you're experiencing lol...you think they just hit a button and give you money everytime you have a problem with their system? No...you requested a monetary compensation and that takes time to be ok'd.

I had an issue and it was resolved in 6 days. So it's hard to understand your problem without more info.

If you elaborate, maybe someone here might be able to suggest something.

Not once have I asked specifically for a monetary compensation nor is this actually why I put the post up. The post was because I was told by microsoft staff that this is where complaints should be made. My complaint is in fact my issue has never been taken seriously nor been resolved. They have totally disregarded a policy in which they say they will reply in a 4 days, I in fact have had to contact them, multiple times. Then they say they have resolved the issue when in fact they hadn't. Then they say they will contact me within a couple of hours and surprise surprise they hadn't. Now stop *** about my request for compensation and realize in fact I am a customer who requires use of his rather expensive gaming console.

Thank you for not been a *** enomorph. My issue they said was a fragmented account. But since a diagnosis 2 weeks back I've heard nothing.
