Parent account

I want to add some microsoft points to my account but everytime i try to do it on the website it asks me to log in to my windows live account, when i do it tells me that its not the parent associated with my account. the problem is that there is no parent associated with the account and there is definitely no windows live other than the one im trying to use. Any ideas on how to solve this or what the problem could be?

Thanks for the help

1) You can bypass the problem by buying PPC (PrePaid Codes) for the points from retails such as 7-11, Amazon or Target. Those you can redeem on your console without parental involvement.

2) You can also go to the Xbox and try to change the password and the parental addresse will be shown to you.

3) Take that to http://account.live.com/password/reset for the password reset

4) If you can't reset it, go to http://account.live.com/acsr SAVE THE EMAILS SENT TO YOU

5 ) If that fails, contact Support and provide them with the Console ID number from Settings | System | Console Settings | System Info (it's on the 2nd line) and the reference number from the email sent to you in Step 2, and submit a UE Request. It is faster to have the Agent call you by going to http://support.xbox.com/contact-us?xr=footnav#0:6:3 or you can look up the phone number from the 1st web link in the .sig shown below.
