I am writing this in utter ANGER for MICROSOFT presently! I today like many of you other 360 owners received the "OPEN TRAY" ERROR last night. This is not the first time this has come to my system. It previously came to my system and I brought it in for extended warranty repair from my store of purchase. That was only 2.5 months ago... AND STILL! I GET THE ERROR DOWN THE ROAD! Not only is this an ELITE, but it was a replacement for my special HALO 3 SPECIAL EDITION XBOX 360 that they demanded I handed in inorder to be sent back to XBOX. So I had to downgrade my system. Not only that, but after talking to Customer Service to find out what they could do for me, they notifiied me that my system was purchased in 2008 and my warranty was null and void. WHICH IS RIDICULOUS CAUSE I GOT MY XBOX REPLACED IN 2009! So not only does my system NOT READ DISC, and is NOT UNDER WARRANTY due to shady sales at FUTURE SHOP- Barrie, Ontario location. I just recently purchased a GOLD MEMBERSHIP CARD, ontop of the one I purchased in Febuary in order to receive 800 XBL points as an added BOUNS. GUESS WHAT? No disc can be read, there for no ONLINE XBL PLAY! Thanks Microsoft for not giving me my money back or sending me a NEW XBOX due to me being a loyal customer for OVER 5 years and counting... Would have been 7, but at this rate of failure on a system... No wonder all my friends have PS3! HELP ME TO RETAIN MY SYSTEM LIKES XBOX OR GET ME MY PREPAID CARD HARD CASH THAT IS GOING TO WASTE NOW DUE TO YOU SYSTEM FAILURE! Cause I want my gaming, but not at the costs that its taken on my wallet!
