NTSC-J console on Japan Live (from EU country) can be banned ?

Hello

I would like to know if a NTSC-J console (a japanese console) can be banned (from serial number or others) if we only connect to Japan Live ?

I assume the NTSC-J will never be modified, hope that the gamertag account will not be hacked, and a really good conduct of use.

Thank you

I understand it well.

Let's imagine, this is just a supposition.

If i have a proxy who is setup when i turn on the xbox, then connect to Live japan, then to the game and "never" disconnect accidently, this will be detected ?
To play the game we need japanese ip, if not we can't log at all.

Once we have japanese ip, we can play (it is a Pay2Play game - players paid like japanese people).

I (hopefully) never read somewhere that the game'server/editor ban someone by using a japanese ip

(even if it is from a proxy adress).
If your console appears to be in EMEA one minute, then in Japan the next minute, then back in EMEA an hour later... Yeah, I don't care what mode of transport you're using, that's not gonna happen without a proxy.

You're fiddling with Internet connectivity to gain access to something not allowed in your region. That's prohibited by the Terms of Use.

The game is NTSC-J that's why NTSC-J console is needed.

Yes this is MonsterHunterFrontierOnline.

Playing MHFO with japanese proxy is possible with japanese ip/proxy on PC version, and since 2008 i am there i never read (on japanese/chinese board) someone get banned for using "fake" japanese ip. There are report banned from official website weekly or monthly and banned by ip was not on the list. Most are cheating, hacking, spamming, trying glitch, modifying game data, stealing account, trying to buy with real money some items, false bonus vaucher, common bad fairplay behaviour after reporting.

So even if it is possible to play it with japanese ip from proxy we need to be/have really clean beaviour.

Can't think of a game that's region locked via IP addresses. If the console's NTSC-J it should just play games from that region quite happily regardless of where the console is currently located. If the game's region free then it should play on any console from any region.

EDIT: Oh wait there's a Japan only Monster Hunter game on the 360 isn't there? You'll need to have words with the game's developer as to whether or not you can play the game online outside of Japan. I personally haven't a clue.

I assume that it is only Microsoft Live who are able to ban accounts and consoles, right ?

Only ban was about cheating, spamming, really bad beaviour.

It's fine. As long as you don't modify the console itself you can use a console from one region in another.
