Now 18.

Back when I created my account, my step-dad put his email address linked to my account and made everything adult settings anyways. But yesterday I ran out of live, purchased a 3-month and got playing with no problem, today I got on and couldnt connect to anything, appeared somehow my privacy settings got changed, I changed them on xbox.com without having to enter his email address and password (on the xbox console you have to). Anyways It shows that all my privacy settings are allowed and I still cant do anything-- can't even send messages. Either way, it should go away because I've been 18 for some time now. How do I get rid of it?

I could be wrong, but I think the only thing you could do is create a new account. Hopefully someone will confirm or tell us something different.

Well, if the account's age is under 18, that can't be fixed.

-

If you can't send messages you might have been suspended for communications.

-

On the Xbox Home, go over to Settings.

Then click on the Family one and disable the settings.

-

That will then disable ALL family settings that your account has enabled.

Meh, Okay. But that's not the main issue. I can't connect to online games, or send messages or anything but all my privacy settings are 'Allowed'. Trying to contact support now.

Also It's not the family settings thing. My account was created almost 5 years ago. So I don't even think they had that at the time.

@Mew - if you are over 18, you can promote your account from child to adult.

If this is a pass code issue, you should call support to get them to help you with this.
