Not being allowed to play online??

Hi
i have recently purchased 12months of Gold membership, I have redeemed the code. But when I try to play online I get this message "The current profile is not allowed to play on XBOX LIVE". I have checked the security settings, not that. I have played on live before, just not working now.

if you added it recently sometimes it delays its functioning.  either A: do a speed test on the console or B: delete profile (profile only) and re download it either one of those should sync up with the live servers and should fix the issue good luck!
