No signal through HDMI cable.

One night I was playing skyrim on my xbox 360 elite with an HDMI cable when the picture started flashing I started to get annoyed. So I decided to turn it off and then turn it on but that just made it worse. Now the Xbox turns on but I can't even see the video and hear the video it just come up with " NO SIGNAL ". I have tried adjusting the video setting to see if it reappears but nothing. IF ANYBODY CAN GIVE ME AN ANSWER ON WHY MY XBOX IS DOING THIS TO ME PLEASE DON'T HESITATE TO TELL ANY ANSWER THAT SOLVES THIS PROBLEM.

Ok, firstly remove the power cable from your console, press the power button a few times then connect the power cable again, now power the console on using the guide button on your controller, as the console boots up press and hold Y and the right trigger on the controller until the console reboots.

I have a bad feeling that maybe your hdmi port has gone AWOL and your console may need a repair but anything is worth a shot at this stage.
