No Parent Account but still being asked to provide one

I have been trying to agree to the new terms and conditions for weeks now, and every time I'm asked to give my parents email and password. There is no parent account associated with mine though, and I can't agree to the terms without this info.

I don;t know what to do. I want to be able to play on live, but without the fantom parent account, I can't.

Go to the Xbox and try to accept the Terms of Use and it will be shown to you.

1) Take that to account.live.com/.../reset for the password reset

2) If you can't reset it, go to http://account.live.com/acsr SAVE THE EMAILS SENT TO YOU

3) IF that fails, contact Support (1-800-4MY-XBOX Option 2 in the US et Canada) and provide them with the Console ID number from Settings | System | Console Settings | System Info (it's on the 2nd line) and the reference number from the email sent to you in Step 2, and submit a UE Request. However, it is faster to have the Agent call you by going to support.xbox.com/contact-us

i say provide the email associated with your xbox profile and see if they will accept it

my account is deffinatly over 18 but xbox has no reccored of a parent account being attached and yet it still asks for one.

hello there

it seems your account is under 18 and to be able to access the many features on xbox live as well as the new terms and condition you need the parent email

i say contact support here support.xbox.com/.../contact-us

they should be able to to track down the parent email
