No lights at all on console!!!

My son had took his Xbox 360 pro to his Moms when he visited her. When he came back and plugged it up there were no lights on front of console. Checked everything. No ring lights or power light in middle, but it is on. Insert game disc of movie and it starts on its on. Controllers do not work. Will not sync. Bought a wired controller and it does not work.

The console worked before he left and  while he was there. It wasn't dropped. I was going to send it in for repair until I found out it ran out 6 months ago. Now it will cost at least $100 to fix.

Anyone ever heard of this and Know what's up?

I think you should still send it in to be fixed, even though it will cost $99.

hmmm.....try putting opening the tray and then while its open, unplug your power cord from the xbox. when its off, push the tray in halfway. plug the cord back in. hold down the sync button and while doing that push the power button on the xbox. it may cause the xbox to reset itself.

wait. never mind. that trick only works on 360 slims. sorry
