no hdmi

I want to buy an xbox one but I have an older HD tv with no HDMI input. Is there any way to hook up an Xbox one. My tv has component and DVI inputs for HD.

I can get a HDMI to DVI cable but I will have no audio. what can I do?

Get with the times and purchase a tv with HDMI? Seriously, HDMI has been the standard for years and you can get tvs with it for next to nothing.

You get three choices. You can get adaptor and loss the greatness of XBOX ONE. You can buy a good brand 1080p HDTV. Or futuer proff your setup by buying a buget 4K tv. Pick one my little grasshopper. Because that many choices you can pick.

MasterShake1972 component will carry HDTV it does with Foxtel in Australia unless Xbox One has it blocked. If you want to upgrade your TV it depends on the size and budget you have there are some good deals under 500 dollars if you shop around. as for 4K tv I reccommend this review by IGN www.ign.com/.../4-things-you-should-know-about-4k-ign-conversation

Your in luck, Xbox one fully supports HDMI to dvi.  in the HDMI setting you can even set it to, auto/HDMI/dvi.   Your right about it not doing sound but you can use the optical out to get sound.  if you don't have a optical input on your TV since most don't you could a buy a cheap optical to Rca adapter.
