No HDD?

I have a 250GB slim and the mrs has a 4GB slim. We've just tried to do co-op on Halo 3 and its saying that one of us does not have a HDD. Does this mean the only way to do it is if I buy her a HDD?

You need to buy 1 if you want to play co-op

Well thats bull lol. I think we'll give Halo a miss.

Yup, it's a limitation with Halo 3 in that you need a hard disk drive and not flash storage to do co-op.  It's a similar situation with Halo: Reach.

I'll just give Halo a miss tbh, she doesn't play that much, plus the main reason i bought the 4GB was because my sister sold me Kinect, couple of games and the console.... after selling the kinect as i already had one and the games it worked out i got BLOPS, MW2 and the 4GB slim for £40.

N00B question but can you remove the HDD from the 250gb slim?

yes iwezo you can.

Yerh, but then we'd still have the problem because i won't be able to play :P

I could of sworn MS said they were gonna fix this issue....

I read an article saying they were trying to fix this when Halo Reach came out, but i take it they never bothered.

Probably did the usual thing of waving other shiney new stuff at the world and hoping people forgot about it.... hate to say it, but MS are pretty good at that.
