Netflix costs $7.99 a month for unlimited viewing. Other movie services like Xbox Video and Cinema Now are cost per use services.
For the $60 a year you get a lot, well worth it.

Thanks, on the web page it lists Netflix under the gold but does not mention a extra cost. I thought it sounded too cheap.
I use Netflix on my 360, PC, tablet and phone - it's great. Lots of great options on Xbox Video as well.
Your Gold service grants access to online features, including Netflix and much, much more.
www.xbox.com/.../Join should give more info.
Gold runs at about $10 monthly, $25 for 3 months, or $60 for a year. The latter two options available via purchasable cards in stores if you don't wish to use a credit card.
Netflix is a separate company, and has their own fees as well. Now, you can get a month for free from them, but then it's a monthly fee that's less than $10.
Having to pay for one doesn't cancel having to pay for the other, so to use Netflix, you need a Netlix account, and Gold membership on your Xbox.
You can use it on your PC. With the same account.
Yeah, you still have to pay Netflix for their services. There's others like that too, but I'm not sure which ones. Netflix is the only extra charge one I use.
There's also the IE app (Internet, but without flash capability), youtube app, and Vevo music. All completely free with Gold.
Still a shame that netflix can only be used with a gold account.
