New XBOX 360 S won't recognize transfer data?

I recently switched from an Xbox 360 (white 20 gig hdd) to a new 250gb Xbox 360 S.

I followed an online guide, formatted a 16 gig flashdrive, and transferred my data to the flash drive. When i went to transfer the data to the new Xbox 360 S, i tripped over the power cord and the console shut off mid-trasnfer. I went to re-transfer the data, and the system did not recognize any of the data on the flash-drive. However, all of the data is still on the drive, by now both the old and new xbox wont recognize any of the data.

The only options i get are to reformat the drive or to configure it.

Is there any way to recover the data?

It does sound like the data on the flash drive is likely corrupted, and in that case, you won't be able to recover it. Did any of the data make it on to the source Xbox?

Did this solve your problem?

Sorry this didn't help.
