New card. Can't remove old one due to 'outstanding payments'

Hi,

I've recently had a few e-mails regarding money not being taken out of my bank account to pay for my Xbox Live subscription and realised today that I got a new card this year, hence the problem.
I went to sort it out and added my new card and then went to remove the old card to get told that I am unable to do so on this payment instrument due to outstanding payments . . .

How am I meant to pay then? This is my new card, the old one's details do not exist any more. The only way to pay is if my new details get used to take payment.

It's quite frustrating.

Thanks,

Karl

Call Microsoft and theyll switch it over and take out the oustanding payments that you owe them , make sure the card to take the money from is added to the relevant gamertag and the process will go smoothly , i had the same problem but i was back on live within 10 Mins

Only one Gamertag is used on my Xbox 360, so that shouldn't be a problem.

I'll give them a call soon. I think it is on automatic renewal for 12 months, and I want them to change it over to 1 month for the time being, too.
