Networking error.

I've recently upgraded to an Optic Fiber internet connection and my Xbox doesn't seem to be able to wirelessly connect to my modem ever since. Bear in mind, I was able to connect to Xbox Live while I was on my old modem.

Apart from not being able to connect successfully, each attempt of connecting the Xbox actually interferes with my modem as well and I will not be able to surf the internet from my computer. I have to reboot the modem to solve the error.

Would like to hear from the experts.

You just need to reset your 360 network setting back to factory defaults.

Go to settings > network> configure network

Tab over to the additional settings tab and select the button to restor to factory defaults.

reboot the 360 and enter you network info on your network (you'll have to find it again)

Can you check if you are using a modem router? It might be possible that your Fiber Optic connection can only accommodate 1 device at a time. Better to get a router so that you can share your connection.
