A Flashing Screen on the Netflix App can mean that Netflix's copyright security may have detected what it thinks is a recording device hooked up to your TV. If you have anything hooked up to your TV besides your Xbox, disconnect them and re-test the Netflix
app. If everything works fine then that security issue would be the case.
If your TV is smart enough to be programmed and you can tell the TV what is connected to each input, you should be able to confirm with the TV that the other devices connected to it are not recording devices and that should allow you to have them connected
at the same as your Xbox.
