netflix and nhl12 connection problems

Ok here we go ill keep simple. I cant watch hd movies on netflix since the update and cant play eashl on NHL12 because of lage since the update.

My cable companie came twice i re-wired my whole house.changed modems tried with wifi no wifi. Tried 3 different xbox models Premium, elite and slim.

They all do it. Not that i tried netflix and nhl12 on my ps3 and they run great...

So WTF!!!!!! Ive been really patient with this problem. DO SOMETHING.

Hey there Silas! Can you elaborate on what this lag is? Describe what you experience and when it happens. Is it more like a stuttering, and then it picks it back up, or does it always seem to be way behind? Does this happen all the time, or more randomly?

Also, as in my last post, have you tried playing other online multiplayer games to see if they have similar issues? Let me know, thanks!

Lag only seems to be nhl 12 and when i play EASHL VS mode no lag. Netflix on xbox only my netflix on ps3 is fine.

Cache has been cleared etc.. etc..

(Yesterday was my first lag free nhl12 night and HD on netflix in like almost 2 months!!!) I dunno who did what but it was nice :-)

well it lasted just that 1 day..... Very frustrating Netflix issue is fixed but the constant lag in nhl 2012 is really really really frustrating

Hey there Silas! I also wanted to clarify that this lag is only happening with NHL 12 and Netflix, correct? Have you tried playing any other games or using any other media apps (Hulu, ESPN, etc)? If it is only happening with certain games/apps, I wouldn't think it is an entire network issue, but rather something specific to those.

Just to cover all the bases, can you delete the Netflix app, clear your system cache, and download it again? Let us know, thanks!

Hey Silas, very sorry to hear about the issues watching Netflix and playing NHL 12! Okay, so from what you've described, this sounds like a connection speed issue (with the inability to watch movies in HD and the lag in-game on NHL). I see that you tried 'no wifi;' when you set up that wired connection, were you wired to the router, or modem? If the router, let's give the modem a shot. :-)

Also, can you please post the full results of a connection speed test and a ping test? Thank you!
