Need to cancel 48-hour gold code so that my Family Pack abilities can kick in?

I recently activated a 48-hour gold code and then I bought a Family Pack but the 48 hour code is still active.. I need to add another account to my Family Plan but on my xbox it still shows me as an Xbox live free member as to where here it shows me as a Gold Family Member. I really don't want to have to wait 48 hours for the code to end so that I can add an account and receive my benefits. Is there anything I can do?

Did you add the family plan on the website? You're showing as a gold member which the 48 hour trial doesn't. If you added it online, try testing your connection or recovering your account.
