Currently I cant connect to xbox live. But Im not sure why, it says on xbox.com that my xbox live is up and running but on my xbox it says its not working. I have wired connection by the way and everything is connected up fine.
Ok, I know that you have said the connection is fine, but best to be thorough eh! You may want to have a look at this
XboxLIVE Disconnects | XboxLIVE Slow | Speed up XboxLIVE - (That may help you have your set up better so that you can connect) that may assist you with your connectivity issue. However, lets test your NAT type, and resolve any errors that may occur, if
they do. Have a look at this
Xbox360 NAT Error page and make sure everything is crystal there! Although the following may be included in the previous support links given, make sure that your router settings are the best they can be for XboxLIVE connection, such as having your network
ports set open and having your UPNP enabled. (Universal Plug and Play)
