Need help connecting Xbox to live....(new internet/already joined live)

It seems i can't connect to Xbox live(anymore) After getting a new internet connection....I can connect for a while(normaly drops out) and most off the time I cant sign in...

I have all the settings setup on the wireless menu

(my internet speeds are good and its connection are good just my xbox cant connect)

Any Error Codes you encounter: None...
What type of internet do you have? Cable/DSL/T1/3G? DSL
Who is your ISP(Internet Service Provider)? westnet
When you run "Test Xbox LIVE connection" what is the exact message shown on screen?

Cant login,no connection,other  errors(that have been fixed like MTU and DNS)

I have suggested to others to disable UPnP to help test/resolve connection and disconnection issues. Give it a try and let me know if it helps.  Some routers do not handle UPnP well when using port forward.

It is wireless however....(You can enable it in the options...I have) Anyway,So i have to connect it with Ethernet cable?....Or do you mean something else(Xbox lives update tonight came at the wrong time I am able to get to the update but that fails....ARGH)

Then i think u have dial up. i used to have it but i changed socket. but there is a nother way. You have to buy a special cable but sorry i cant tell u wat it is ( i forgot ) sorry and GOOD LUCK ! hope i helped

too be honest i dont like wireless it gives me limited connect but when i use wired ( ethernet cable ) i get a better connection.  Hmmm.. Ummmm...  If it is wireless the first disconnect the modem/router for 30 seconds. reconnect it and if it doesnt work then....

Just to be sure, have you tried the steps listed in those DNS and MTU guides on support.xbox.com? If not, I'd be happy to provide them. As for the update issue, what happens when you try and download the update?

By my thoughts you have a dial-up connection and need to either plug your connection to another port or even get a secondary cable and plug it into your socket p.s. This will only work if u have your xbox connected to your modem/router and then it should be plugged to the socket if its connected somewhere else im very sorry i have no way to help you I hope i have assissted you and GOOD LUCK :)
