Need advise on best course of action for an Xbox bought for viewing Netflix

We have two Xboxes. One is permanently attached to our teenage son in the gaming room. The other is in our family room. We bought the family room Xbox to play Kinnect games and to watch Netflix.I think we may have made a mistake. We just bought the basic Xbox 360--not the one with the huge hard drive. Since we weren't playing a lot of games and saving a lot of data, we didn't think we needed the hard drive space. Do we have to buy one of those big hard drives just to watch Netflix? The current one won't do because it is a 4 GB unit and Netflix needs 5 GB to be installed. Is there some other way to accomplish this?

You could buy the 8GB GB USB card that Xbox has. I got one works like a charm. You can also get that for about $40 bucks.
