NAT Error Tried Everything

Hi,

I recently today started recieving a NAT error after testing my Xbox Live Connection (I wasn't able to join a friends party yesterday). I have tried the following: Disabling NAT, Enabling UPnp, forwarding ports 53, 3074, 88, and 80 and their correct types, turning the modem and system off for 30secs, simplifying the system (as xbox puts it), and anything else that was on their suppot page. Does anyone know what is wrong? Thanks.

Things You Have Tried: Listed Above or Everything on Xbox Support

Upnp Enabled: Yes, enabled

Is NAT Type Open: I think. Because their is something that says "Filter Internet NAT Redirection" and that box is not checked. If this isn't NAT then I don't think you can remove it because I searched my whole router for something with the word NAT in it.

It is important to know the model of your modem.  It may well be causing the issue.  There should be a tag on the back or bottom of the modem that tells  you what the model number is.

Solution Found!!!!!!!!

What I did was the following:

Disable Upnp

Set MTU to automatic (in my case automatic is 1500)

Forward Ports 88 (UDP) and 3074 (Both)

Change 360 from Static IP (Manual) to Automatic

Set router at DHCP

If you do all this exactly is should work if you have the same router as me Linksys: WRT54G-TM

Also Firmware for the router is v5.00.33

Thanks for all the help and I swear this worked for me
