OK, for a long while Xbox Live was working perfectly then well my 360 is off, someone changes the ethernet cables or reboots the router. So, then I started to search around for the reason why it no longer functioned entirely perfect like before. Apparently I needed my NAT status changed to open, so I go into my router settings checked UPnP... Found out that it was still enabled. Ok, so then I enabled the necessary ports, and wow it worked! So, its been 4-5 months without a single problem (started while playing Black Ops). So I wake up this morning to find my 360 disconnected from the Live and that an update is required to play, however after this update my NAT settings went back to saying strict/moderate with all my router settings still the same. Is there a new port that needs to be open/enabled?
Router is a cisco lynksis WRT160N
Modem is supplied by ISP
I think that I might just buy a PS... they don't charge you Xbox live. Sure they too have internet problems but at least I'm not paying money for them.
