My xbox wont connect to live through the network bridge

I'm using an Acer Aspire 5741 with a broadcom 802.11n network adapter, with a broadcom netlink gigabit ethernet
I have bridged my ethernet port and wireless card together, and my laptop
can access the internet just fine, but my xbox will not connect to the internet at all.
I can hook it up to the router and get access just fine, any suggestions?

Have you tested your xbox live connection. I know I used to connect my xbox to my laptop so I could use my wireless connection. I had to test the connection each time in order to get them connected.

Hi,

Please look at one or both of these guides for help on this set-up:-

support.xbox.com/.../connect-Xbox-360-console-Xbox-LIVE-with-computer-978618

www.unofficialguidetolive.co.uk/xbox-ics-bridging-guide

If you are still stuck after that (including the promiscuous mode changes) please post the make/model of router and also state if you are using a firewall on your PC (e.g. Norton/Mcafee/Zonealarm etc)

Thanks
