my xbox will NOT stay connected to xbox live!!!!

my gear of war 3 limited edition xbox 360 will NOT stay connected to xbox live for some unknown reason. i do have a moderate NAT but i"ve never had this problem before. not even with my first elite back when i had it. ill connect to live and 3-5 minutes later im disconnected and then i reconnect without issue. im starting to think i need to have it sent off and fixed. but id rather not considering i dont want to wait a week to play any of my games. please someone help me out here.

Mine is doing the same exact thing. Can connect but disconnects 3-5 minutes later. It happened to me probably 2-3 weeks ago as well. Eventually it fixed itself but now I have the same problem again. Very annoying.

Greetings, BoondocksXxXSky. There was some downtime yesterday which is likely why you were unable to connect to LIVE. The problem has been resolved and it looks like you were able to successfully connect after posting in this thread. However, if you are still having problems connecting please let me know and we can continue troubleshooting.
 

Tom Peeper, did you experience connectivity issues around when BoondocksXxXSky initially posted? Are you continuing to experience connectivity problems this morning? If so, when did it start? Thanks in advance!

My NAT is open. It kicks me off of xbox live every 15 or so minutes. Help!
