My Xbox One is bricked

My Xbox one froze on the initial green start up screen forever. I restarted the xbox and now I have a blank black screen and it has no sound no picture, nothing!! Any help or advice would be nice. Planning on exchanging it later today, unless there is a fix!!

Are you using the hemi that came with the console? If not try that.

Hey BCOYLE,

Sorry to hear you're having issues with your console.

Have you tried turning off your console, then removing and reversing the heads on your HDMI cable?


Please let us know if you're still showing a blank screen after that.

Try unplugging the power from the back of the xbox.  The light on the power brick should turn amber.  Let it sit for a couple minutes then plug it back in.  The light on the brick should turn back white.  If this doesn't help then IDK.  I had the black screen this morning and this fixed it.

I had the same problem and pulling the power supply also fixed mine.
