my upnp is on but i think that my problem is my sisters comp. i think i encounter my problem more often when its using internet even when all the others are off.  i didn't start having this problem till she got it.

if any 1 knows how to make her computer not use all my bandwidth, i tried the priority settings on my dlink but that didn't help

Hi, have you changed any settings on the 655? Ever set-up any portforwarding or a DMZ? The 655 is a good router and all you need to do is ensure UPnP is enabled on it and the Xbox ip address is set to auto on the Xbox. What modem is the 655 connected to?

The DIR-655 is a very good router I think you may have it set-up wrong that's all. Please post up  the version of firmware you are using first of all and we'll go from there. You can set it up from scratch again which is very easy and I'm sure you'll be fine after that. I've been recommending that router for years its very good

Enabling UPnP is enabled via the router settings. You can find the instructions for your specific router here: www.dlink.com/.../default.aspx
