My Xbox keeps disconnecting. Help please!

Right, I'v had a Wireless N Networking Adapter for ages, and it's now suddenly disconnecting. I'll sign into my profile, it'll connect to Live, next minute it disconnects and a message comes up saying "Your console can't connect to Xbox LIVE. Do you want to exit this session and test your network connection? If you are playing a game, you will lose any unsaved progress." I can't even get onto a games main menu without it disconnecting and coming up with this message. Help please!! :(

your problem been fixed now? I have the same problem. So does this mean it is the xbox live service rather than my own connection...?

Does that mean they actually provided you with an answer that solved the problem? Or just that you now know that a lot of people are having the problem?

No it happened to me again today but it seems to be a lot of people as well. But it's started working again now

This is getting ridiculous. I have seen so many people complaining about the same problem, it surely cannot be each individual's connection issues. Yet there has been no recognition of the problem at xbox live's end?

Agreed, I spent a few hours last night on the phone with an elevated Xbox Live networking engineer and still no progress. We went though multiple test and nothing seems to work...at least for very long.

I'm convinced it's on Xbox Live's end because it just start recently happened after the latest firmware update. I've done my own homework as well, I'm going to try and disable cloud backup and see if that helps.

Yeah there seems to be many temporary fixes, but nothing that will work for longer than a few hours for me. Could you please keep me updated on how that goes?

Sure, I stopped caring for a little while because I'm so into Mass Effect 3 right now and I don't care if my connection stays as I'm playing single player.

The rep who I talked to thinks it's either my network or my console, now considering I've had the same ISP and router for years I highly doubt it's my end considering it just happened recently after the update.

I'm having the exact same problem. I've made a post (forums.xbox.com/.../219054.aspx) and haven't gotten any help yet. I've tried all the "fixes" I could, no luck.

Please someone message me if they find a working solution!
