My xbox has been acting strange lately

just so you know its an xbox slim. the problems i've been getting could be due to the new router i just got but i'm not so sure, firstly, when i got the router i used gears 3 to check my NAT type, nothing unusual, I then returned to gears later to find all of my multiplayer progress wiped, then AC Revelations forced me to do the training missions again and re do my loadouts.

then i found out I had to endure the full 45 minutes of the kingdom of amalur demo to get a weapon in mass effect 3, so i played it again and I was met by a pop up telling me I had played it before on a different console, i hadn't, i had played it before but on the same console.

and last few times i've turned my xbox off, the screen has gone black but the xbox remains on for about 10-15 seconds and the green light in the centre of the power button will slowly pulse on and off.

can anyone think of a reason/solution to any of these problems? is it my new router?

thanks!

I know Microsoft had to help me very similar when we got a new router.  Apparently there's  a setting on the routers settings web page where you have to verify if that NAT function is enabled or not.  He walked me right through it.  I would recommend calling MS @  1-800-4-MY-XBOX and tell them what's happening.  They should be able resolve your issue.  Good Luck!!

:) Cheers!

this could be the cloud storage system backing itself up before shutdown.

i have this message most times when playing gears 3,i also only have the one console.
