My Xbox freezes, but not like it usually would.

I have a 250GB slim. Sometimes, when I'm playing a game, the game will freeze - four times. Only four times. To explain further, what I mean, is it will freeze for around a second, unfreeze for around a second, and repeat four times. As far as I can remember, this has only happened on three games, but I could be wrong. Those games are Modern Warfare 2, Black Ops and Halo Reach. All three of which are installed to my Hard Drive. I've been playing LA Noire a lot recently, and I've had no such freezing.

Could this be a hard drive error? I'm going to uninstall those games from my Hard Drive and see if they continue to freeze, but has anyone else had this issue? By the way, it's been happening for a while, I have no idea how long.

MW2, Black Ops, and Reach are. LA Noire is not.

Also recently, Fallout New Vegas has been crashing consistently, must have been about ten times today. Clearing cache didn't work.

It does sound like an issue with your Hard Drive. Do you have the discs for these games, or are they Games on Demand titles? If discs, can you try running from the discs only?
