Sounds like your controller is dying. Are you seeing this in any other games or just this one? Also is it wired or wireless. If wired it could be the connection is a little loose.

.

We need more info on what it doing out side of one game to really help.

How old is your controller? Ive had similar issues with my 5+ Year old controller. I put alot of hours into it and I think it just got worn out. Try pairing it again with the console, and blow some air/ clean around the joysticks and triggers those would temporarily fix it for me. Long term though, you might want to consider a new controller if it is pretty old.

Your controller might be damaged in some way have you dropped it or spilt liquid on it that might contribute to a short in the wiring or loosening of the wires because that could be the problem since your controller isnt that old. My advice would probably be to buy a new one.

Hey, Just Joshin Yuh.

Some issues that could contribute to your controller issue, is physical damage, low batteries, or liquid damage. After attempting to change the batteries, or trying your controller with other games to see if the problem remains persistant, a total controller replacement may be in order.
