My Wireless Headset with Bluetooth isn't Working

So, my original wired headset broke, so I went and got the wireless headset to replace it. It connects just fine, but the Xbox seems to think that my broken headset is still connected to it and so I can't use either of them. Any help would be appreciated.

I am unsure as to why you may be getting issues with your other controller but you may find that plugging and unplugging your wired headset into/out of your other controller may fix the issue.
