My System shuts itself off with no warning.

I don't know if this issue has been posted, but I'm gonna ask anyway.

I own an Xbox 360 Elite system, and live in Arizona.

My system until about a month ago worked perfectly fine and had no issues.

About a month ago I left to go to Anime Expo. I was gone a week. When I returned my 360 now will no longer stay on for extended periods of time. I will turn the system on, start to play a game, and within 5 minutes the system will turn itself off again.
There are no red lights appearing when the system turns off, or any time after the system shuts off. It just shuts off.

I have taken it to a friend's house, with my own power block, and tried it there. It worked perfectly. So I am thinking that it has something to do with my household.

I am unsure of what it is. I have tried several different outlets in my home and get the same results.

Can anyone help me?

You tried your console at a friends house and everything ran fine? Have you tried all the outlets in your house? Seems odd it would work there but not here. Is your house an old one? Perhaps the wiring is bad.

Did this solve your problem?

Sorry this didn't help.
