My original Xbox has a rrod!

Sorry to hear about your problem.

 

But, since Microsoft is no longer making that console, they no longer service it.

 

Your best option would to do a Bing search for a local or reputable service centre for that console.

If it is an original 20gb pro you can send it to Microsoft for a repair but that will cost 119.99. If you have a newer slim model and purchased it recently brand new then it could be free for the repair. In any event there are no tips or tricks that I can give out that are authorized. Visit support.xbox.com/.../flashing-lights-solution and follow the instructions there. You may find a solution to your problems other than repair. Worth a shot.
