My new 120GB Hard Drive can't be detected.

Hi there, I've recently purchased a 120GB Hard Drive, as I've filled up my 12GB Hard Drive and I need more space at the moment. I've got a data transfer cable too, to transfer everything from the 12GB to the 120GB.

I first off plugged my 120GB hard drive into my data transfer cable, as my 12GB was already in the xbox, and transferred everything from the 12GB to the 120GB. I then took the 12GB out and put the 120GB in with all the data on it. After powering up the xbox I went to check everything had transferred okay and it doesn't say the hard drive is even present. All I get in my Storage list is my internal 500MB data, and that's it.

Can anybody help me? I'm in dire need. Thanks.

does it show up when you connect it to the transfer cable?  if so, you used a 3rd party cable and you just transformed your 120 gig hard drive into a 16 gig flash drive and there is no way to make it a hard drive again, sorry.

But isn't there any way of re-formatting it so the xbox can then change it back into a 120GB hard drive? pretty sure it's not un-fixable.
