My connection is not connectingly properly and dropping out alot

I am having trouble with the connection on my xbox 360 and i've tried everything to fix it, i can connect sometimes but when i do its often for less than a minute and i'll get disconnected. I have been using live before this with the exact same router and setting but it just stopped working, i can also connect to internet on all other devices, here are the details

Replaced router (same model)

Tested my adapter on a differnt xbox (worked)

Any Error Codes you encounter:
None, just says i can't connect and gives me that sujestion thing
Who is your ISP(Internet Service Provider)?
Telstra
When you run "Test Xbox LIVE connection" what is the exact message shown on screen?
There is a problem with your connection

Also im not that good with computers so try not to make it too complicated for me

I had the sam problem i have heard of hackers flooding your router so no information can get to your xbox.Have you made anyone you played with mad?I had this problem and if you call your internet provider and tell them what is going on they will send someone out to upgrade your internet speed if that does'nt work then try to change your ip adress.Hoped I helped and good luck! :)

Have you tried opening up ports on your router that allow easier assess to Xbox LIVE? I don't know how to do this with your router, but click the link below and look for a similar page. Remember, where it says IP Address, enter the IP of your 360, not the IP in the image.

When you test the connection and it says there's a problem it also tells you to hit more info for a description.  That description is the error message, what does it say above the troubleshooting. It will say something like can't obtain an IP or DNS or MTU... whatever it says directs us to the issue.

 

If you have a 3rd party netgear gaming adapter you don't have this particular issue and need to make a new thread for assistance please, or refer to your adapters instructions to get it reconfigured.

its cant obtain ip idress

Also how do i change my ip? that link just sent me to my hotmail?

i tried it, still nothing. I'm really stumped on what it could be. Might try a wired connection later, see what happens

If you are having intermittent connectivity issues, I strongly suggest checking to see if UPnP is enabled and if so, try disabling it to see if your problem persists.  A few people I have helped lately have seen improvement after disabling UPnP.
