My connection cannot connect to the internet...so says my console

So I can connect to my own connection fine, It says to contact my ISP because I may have problems with my connection? (this post should set the implication that my internet is fine)

I recently was off LIVE for around ten months, before that I had no problem at all connecting.

I have restored the factory defaults, changed the MAC adress, set the primary and secondary DNS etc

I have even cleared the cache...

I can connect to the router, however the console says the router cannot connect to the internet, which is untrue.

It is almost exactly eleven feet away, keep in mind there was never a problem like this prior to my break from XBL
