My account was suspended and I can't redeem a 3 month code.

Hi, 

I recently turned off auto renew through Xbox customer support and today I found out I can't sign into Xbox LIVE, I recieved a message saying my account was suspended and I need to found a new way to pay. I wanted to remove a credit card, but thanks Microsoft to making sure that's not possible, it seems.

So anyway, I bought a 3 month code on Amazon and typed it on my console and it wouldn't let me. I also tried online, no luck.

I just got back from work and would like to play online for a little bit, why does MS have to put everyone through so much BS? Why can't I enter my code? I want to play Halo a half hour, but it seems like that's not going to happen.

 

If anyone can help me that would be great, thanks.

Your going to have to call them and work It out. This Is the reason why I don't use credit cards with my account.

Okay, this should be great. Just what I want after work, talking to someone that I can't understand dealing with credit cards online for an hour.

well you should read the terms of use

specially section 6

you MUST keep your creditcard info upto date

that being said

you must pay off the outstanding balance with a debitcard or paypal or creditcard and then you can use the prepaid code to add additional time

the creditcard cannot remove till the balance has been paid and its not on an active membership

like everybill you pay you must notify the company before the billing date to cancel

if you typed in the code it accepted then all it did was add additional time but not pay off the balance

like a bounced check when you promised to pay someone and your check isn't good you need to issue a good check before you can continue using the service
