My account is linked to my dad's email, he doesn't remember the password.

I've been trying to join xbox live rewards, and it says im too young and can't join. I want to be able to change it , but the account is linked to my dad's email account, and he doesn't know the password. Is there any way that I can change my account information so it is linked to my own email/hotmail account? Since I don't know my dad's password, I'm restricted from doing a lot of things. Please help!

I managed to guess my dads password correctly, but it still says I'm too young to join xbox live rewards . I only wanted to join to get some Microsoft points , but I can buy them just as easily. Thanks a lot for your help guys !!

You can try changing your Windows LIVE ID on the account support.xbox.com/.../manage-live-id.

The block on the Rewards program though could be caused by the age on your gamertag and not the connected email. Changing your Windows LIVE ID does not change the age you entered when creating your account.

Also, to change the live id information, you have to have the password.

account.live.com/.../reset would likely be your next step to try and reset his password.
